The ocean day

      Today, we go to the ocean to get some fish and go to the aquarium. When we get on the ship, I can see every was get really excited, so we spend maybe 15 minutes to get inside of the ocean. After we stop, we start to pull the rope to the ship, we got a lot of things, like crabs and a lo of type fishes, I just saw a little cute squid on the behind our ship, so I just catch it but teacher told me I have to put it back to the ocean. Then we were ready to go to the aquarium.
       When we got in the aquarium, we were see the Chambered Nautilus first. Then, I went to feed the parrots. After those, we left that wonderful place and back to the school.

Presidential Library

I went to the Presidential Library with my school group, Mr. Bront drove for 1 and half hour to go there. I was sleep for all the time in the going time. I remember when I was fall in sleep, I was on the ground. When I weak up I already arrived the top of the huge mountain. First, when we got in, there was a wizard take us to the first room of president, that was really cool, there was a huge picture of George Washington. After that, we went to a place that has a lot of traffic tools and stuff about president. I felt really happy to went to the Presidential Library.

Rubel Castel and Azusa Parific University

      Today，I went to Rubel Castle and Azusa Parific University. That was a great place. We went there by our teachers. When we arrived, there is a really old classic car came to meet us. There were a old man with a little boy lead us to visit this wonderful castle. When we get in, we saw a small place that could feed horses, and they can feed the chickens too. Then, we went to a place that has two old cars. These cars are really cool. After that, we went to the Industrial area which has a lot produced a lot of cars in that place. I saw a awesome cactus that grow like 1 feet long. Then, we went a huge room which has a lot of amazing stuff in there, like a old piano which need use the feet to use it, and I saw a huge rain's toy on a table, that was like a big place of a place kind of like Texas. Then there are three toy trains which can move like three real train, these are made form machine. After they we went to a room where we watched a video about this place's headmaster. I saw a lot of cock these are made from 100 years ago.......
      After we leave, we went to the Azusa Parific University. That's a huge collage. There was a lady leaded us to visit that collage, we saw a lot of wonderful stuff in there. Finally we had lunch in In-N-Out. Then, we back to our wonderful Southwestern Academy.

The Nortonsimon museum

      Today, I go to the Nortonsimon museum. It's a museum about American history. We go there by taking Mr. Corodero’s van. When we arrived and got inside there, Mrs. Osmonson gave us a yellow medal. After that, we got into the museum. We saw a lot of cool American stuffs. But the most of them are cow boy's stuff. They're so cool. I even want to take one of them to home!  We saw a video about the cow boys in the past. A part of video was telling the first movie about vampire: his name is Dracula. He is a wonderful character. This movie is good. After that, we went to a small museum store and we bought some stuffs then we left that wonderful place.

Getty Museum

      Today, we went the Getty Museum. We went there by almost 2 hour from Mr. Nord's car. We took more time than other people, because the car was broke. So we have to go back to school and change a car.
       After 1 hours, we arrived there, that's so beautiful. We saw a lot of things in Roman era. Then we went to a little shop. There are so many good stuff in that place. But unfortunately, I didn't took any money to there. 
       Whatever, I love that place.

LA County

      Today, I went to the LA county. It was a sunny day. We follow our teachers to the wonderful LA County. 

      After we arrived, there are a lot of beautiful animals and plants there. Mr. Gibbs had explained all the staff for us. 

      Later, we went a little  lake. There are a lot of geese and peahens there. They made and more happy and I saw a white little baby goose what always follow its mom and never leaving her. That's so funny! 

     After that, we went to barren place. Mr. Neander and me notice a big oven. I saw a lot of fixtures inside of it to make sure it won't be broke in the future. 

     Then we saw there turtles in the small river. What a happy day this was!

The Battleship Iowa

      Today we went to the Battleship Iowa. 

      It is a big gray battleship. It's so cool, and there is a supply truck on the outside near this battleship and when we got in, we saw a lot of bullets of the ship's cannons. These cannons were in front of the ship and look like they were ready to fire. 

      After we visit the top of the ship, we went into the ship. We saw the crews dorms. The tour guide was explaining all the stuff o the ship for us. There are a lot of weird smells on the ship which I didn't like at all.

      There are a lot of funny machines in the ship, like a compass, it can tell the crews where they should go, a telescope that can make us see the stuff that fall away from us closer. I loved that place.

The Art Street

          Today, I went the Art Street to see a lot of wonderful pictures. It was a sunny day. We followed Mr. Cabalu and Ms. Foster to this wonderful street, there were a lot of good pictures. Like 3D pictures, personal portraits, or some abstract pictures, and I pick two of them to be my favorite pictures, let's talk about it.

           The first one is my favorite one in these pictures. It's a picture about Star Wars. Second, The artist used the good tones and it can make it look more close to reality. Then, the metal part of Darth Vader's helmet and armor are paint really well, because the artist used the good light tone to show the metal part.

           My second favorite picture is the picture of Michael Jackson. First, I love Michael Jackson. Second, this artist used the masses of tones with the lines. It can make picture look more close to real. Finally, this artist used a lot of stars on MJ's cloth. Every star has different color. So they made the picture between the abstract and portrait. I had a wonderful time on that street.

What I will do in this wonderful Summer

           I'm Ken, who moved to America from China. I'm 13 years old this year, but I'm kind of tall for a 13-year-old teenager, so everyone when they first meet me probably thinks I'm older than 15 or in high school at least, but the truth is I'm 13 and only 7th grade boy and I'll take the Summer School this year.
           In this summer, I'll do a lot of good things. First, I'm a ESL student. So I have to pass ESL and go to the regular class. Second, I'll go to the Vancouver, the place where my oldest cousin live. And I'm very happy about Mr.Bornt allow me to bring my iguana Alex to school, I have to because my parents will not in America in this summer and I'll live at dorm so if I don't take him to school he probable will die, and I don't want that happen. Finally, let's do something and have fun in this wonderful summer.
